Frederick “Fritz” A. Henderson , Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer

Fritz Henderson is Chairman, President and CEO of SunCoke Energy Partners GP LLC, the general partner of SunCoke Energy Partners L.P. (NYSE: SXCP), as well as the Chairman, President and CEO of SXCP’s sponsor, SunCoke Energy, Inc. (NYSE: SXC).Prior to joining SunCoke, Henderson served in several leadership positions at General Motors, including COO, CFO and President and CEO. During his tenure as CEO he stabilized operations, reorganized management and developed a restructuring plan that contributed to GM’s emerging from U.S. bankruptcy in 2009 in an unprecedented 40-day period. He began his career with the global automaker in 1984 in its corporate treasury office. Henderson serves on the Board of Directors of Marriott International and is a trustee of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. He is also a member of The Commercial Club of Chicago and The Economic Club of Chicago. Henderson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Alvin Bledsoe , Director

From 1972 until his retirement from the firm in 2005, Mr. Bledsoe served in various senior roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, or PwC. He joined the Board of Directors of Crestwood Gas Services GP LLC, formerly Quicksilver Gas Services, in 2007. Following the October 2013 merger and subsequent related corporate restructuring between Crestwood Midstream Partners LP, Inergy, L.P. and Inergy Midstream, L.P., Mr. Bledsoe is now a director of Crestwood Equity GP LLC, the general partner of Crestwood Equity Partners LP, where he is chair of the Audit Committee. He also is a director of Crestwood Midstream GP LLC, the general partner of Crestwood Midstream Partners LP, where he is also chair of the Audit Committee. Additionally, he was elected as a director of SunCoke Energy, Inc. in June 2011. From May 2007 to August 2010, Mr. Bledsoe served as a member of the Archuleta County Colorado Financial Advisory Task Force.

Martha Z. Carnes , Director

Martha Z. Carnes retired in June 2016 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. During her 34-year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, she held a number of leadership positions, including as Managing Partner for the firm’s Houston, Texas office. As an Assurance Partner serving large, publicly traded companies in the energy industry, Ms. Carnes led PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s energy and mining assurance, tax and advisory practices. She has vast experience with capital markets activities and was the lead audit partner on some of the largest merger and acquisition transactions completed in the energy sector. Ms. Carnes currently serves as a director and Audit Committee Chair of Core Laboratories N.V. She is also a director of Matrix Service Company.

Katherine Gates , Director

Katherine Gates joined SunCoke in February 2013 as Senior Health, Environment and Safety (HES) Counsel. She was promoted to Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in July 2014. Ms. Gates began her legal career in private practice as a partner at Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., where she served on the firm’s Management Committee. During her tenure at the firm, Ms. Gates worked with SunCoke for approximately two years in a secondment arrangement prior to joining the Company. Ms. Gates received a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from the State University of New York-College at Geneseo. She also clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

P. Michael “Mike” Hardesty , Director

Mike Hardesty is Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, Business Development, Terminals and International Coke of our general partner, SunCoke Energy Partners GP LLC. He is also Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, Business Development, Terminals and International Coke of our sponsor, SunCoke Energy, Inc. Mr. Hardesty joined SunCoke in September 2011 bringing with him more than 30 years of mining industry experience. Prior to joining SunCoke, he served as Senior Vice President for International Coal Group, Inc. (ICG). Prior to ICG, Mr. Hardesty served as Vice President of Commercial Optimization at Arch Coal.

John W. Somerhalder, II , Director

John W. Somerhalder, II has been the Interim President and CEO of Colonial Pipeline Company since February 2017. Prior to that, he was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of AGL Resources. Mr. Somerhalder has over four decades of experience in the energy industry, including state and regulatory experience in multiple jurisdictions. Prior to joining AGL Resources, Mr. Somerhalder was President of El Paso Pipeline Group and Executive Vice President of El Paso Corporation. He is a past Chairman of the board of directors of the American Gas Association and of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America. Mr. Somerhalder currently serves as a director of CenterPoint Energy. In addition, he is a director of Crestwood Midstream GP LLC, the general partner of Crestwood Midstream Partners LP, and the Gas Technology Institute. He also is a Member of the National Petroleum Council.

Fay West , Director

Fay West is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SunCoke Energy Partners GP LLC, the general partner of SunCoke Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: SXCP). She is also Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SXCP’s sponsor, SunCoke Energy, Inc. (NYSE: SXC). Before joining SunCoke in 2011, West was Assistant Controller at United Continental Holdings, Inc. Prior to that role, she served as in several leadership roles at PepsiAmericas, Inc., including Vice President of Accounting and Financial Reporting, and Director of Financial Reporting. Prior to joining PepsiAmericas, Inc., West was Vice President and Controller of GATX Rail Company. West is a certified public accountant (CPA) and received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from DePaul University.
