In operation since 1962, approximately 700,000 tons of coke is produced from 133 ovens operated by Jewell Coal & Coke Company in Vansant, Virginia. All of that coke is sold to Arcelor Mittal USA pursuant to a long-term contract. The Vansant plant is a non-recovery facility with no by-product steam or electric power production.

| Indiana Harbor Coke Company |

In operation since 1998, Indiana Harbor Coke Company operates a heat recovery plant located in East Chicago, Indiana. IHCC's East Chicago plant produces 1.3 million tons of coke from 268 ovens. All of the coke production is shipped via conveyor to Arcelor Mittal's #7 blast furnace, the largest blast furnace in the western hemisphere.
Heat produced during the coking process is provided to Primary Energy's cogeneration plant, and is converted into steam and electrical power.

| Haverhill, Ohio (Haverhill North Coke Company Phase I and II) |

HNCC's plant in Haverhill, Ohio is positioned on a 267 acre tract in southern Ohio along the Ohio River. The first phase of the plant was commissioned in the first quarter of 2005 and produces approximately 550,000 tons of blast furnace coke per year and approximately 400,000 pounds per hour of low-pressure process steam sold to an adjacent Sunoco phenol manufacturing facility.
Haverhill Phase II started production of an additional 550,000 tons of blast furnace coke per year from 100 new heat recovery ovens in July 2008. It also will produce approximately 350,000 pounds per hour of superheated steam that will be delivered to an onsite power facility, generating 46 MW electrical power for sale into the PJM power market.
