Audit Internship

As an Audit Intern you will perform professional internal auditing work, such as conducting performance, financial and compliance audit projects, providing value-added services to our management and staff, and providing input to the development of the annual audit plan. This position maintains all professional and ethical standards. You will get the opportunity to use your independent judgment as you participate in projects with limited supervision.

Process Technology Engineering Internship

This Field Engineering position has the potential for 30%-50% travel to our domestic coke plants. This role supports the operational needs of the Technology group by conducting field trials, collecting and analyzing data sets, troubleshooting, optimizing initiatives, assessing asset utilization and improving efficiencies.

Reliability Engineer Internship

As a Reliability Engineer Intern you may travel 10%-20% of the time to our domestic coke and logistics facilities depending on your assigned project. Your role may support plant operational needs by conducting field equipment assessments, collecting and analyzing data, troubleshooting and investigating equipment failures to improve the asset utilization of the facility.

MBA Development Program

As a member of SunCoke’s MBA Development Program within the Finance department, you will be exposed to several areas of SunCoke’s team, including Accounting External Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, Audit, Tax and Treasury. Participants engage in projects ranging from tackling near-term functional problems to resolving long-term strategic issues, often times assisting with requests from SunCoke’s Executive Committee. You will help grow our business, improve efficiency within functional areas, drive best practice process improvement and provide organizational leadership. You will also gain an understanding of the broad scope of SunCoke’s business through cross-functional projects and assignments.
